Welcome to the District of South Carolina!
Our district is staffed with 140 employees - primarily United States Probation Officers. Our headquarters, four divisional offices and two satellite offices serve the entire state of South Carolina. We supervise over 3,000 federal offenders throughout the state and conduct over 2,400 investigations for our Court each year. In doing so, the United States Probation Office strives to promote law-abiding behavior, public safety and the fair administration of justice.
